I was looking at homeschool curriculum, planning for next year and trying to figure out what grade reading level the boys are on. They have been reading lots of easy readers, but I felt that they could be farther along than that. So I handed Miles a book from his favorite series and he took off! Not only can he read them but he can comprehend what is happening in the story. I just lost my son to the world of books and couldn't be happier!

These are some of our current favorites. Each one is a story based on the life of a missionary, like Amy Carmichael, Martin Luther, and John Wesley. I can't remember how many books are in this series but they should keep us busy for a while. They are written by Dave and Netta Jackson.
