I love going and looking through all the possibilities, even if I pretty much know what I want to use and what will work for my children. It's always nice to browse. I especially loved the Lamplighter book table, all those leather bound volumes, they smell so good and the stories are just as sweet. I can't wait to place my order. I picked up an art program that will work perfect with our history program, some writing tablets and journal books, math charts, and world geography books.
I will order the rest of the curriculum over the next month or so. I was able to go with a new friend and had a great time wandering around, it gets me excited about teaching just when I think I have had enough for the year, I can't wait for the new books to come in.

Hi Bekki,
ReplyDeleteI have a great book that you might like to check out from the library. it is a good supplemental resource for any art curriculum that you might be using. I love this book and am wanting to get a copy for at home since I have used the library's copy so much.
Discovering great artists : hands-on art for children in the styles of the great masters / MaryAnn F. Kohl, Kim Solga ; illustrations, Rebecca Van Slyke.
