Art in the Master Bedroom

After my Husband gave me the new bed for our Anniversary and we thought we were moving I decided the Master Bedroom needed some attention. So I decorated it and made it look presentable for selling. At that point it looked like this.021Now we are not moving so I wanted to finish it the way I really wanted it. I bought new bedding as the style of quilt and the bed do not go together, and hung some art over the bed. 011I still am on the hunt for new night stands and am going to paint the lamps, but it all ready looks so much better and I LOVE the bedding. The quilt is from Target and the euro shams are from Pottery Barn Outlet. I still need to make a few pillow covers but the white works until I can get to that project. 009004For the art I purchased a set of 1880’s chromolithograph prints off of  e-bay for 39.95. I think I got about 18 prints, so I have many more I can use elsewhere. The frames are from Michael’s and are 9x12. They are the perfect size for the prints, and I cut the mattes myself.   006 On Saturday on my way home from the yard sales. I saw an old door laying in a pile of trash. I circled around and stopped to pick it up. Since it was laying in freshly cut grass the finish is ruined. I can’t wait to paint it white!007This room is finally coming together just the way I see it in my head.013

  3. Love the colors!!!! Did you see the nightstands at Ikea? That's where we got ours last month and I'm sure they would match your bed:)
