Patriots and Rebels

I finally got around to getting pictures taken of the children in their Revolutionary War costumes. I had planned to wait until spring and take them to Valley Forge, but Miles tried on his pants and couldn't get them buttoned. So off I went to the studio, before it was to late. Then when I went to look at the proofs, I liked every. single. one.!  So I bought the copyrights to the photos to be able to use them however I wanted. Oh the possibilites I have for my walls. There are quite a few posted here, I couldn't help it, I do have more but I didn't want this to become the longest photo post ever. Enjoy and let me know which group shot you like the best, I can't decide, I put numbers next to each choice.

  1. Wow, they're all great! Now I see why you bought the copyright. I love 4 for the group shot. Their costumes remind me of the one Mom made for me in 1976. Our school had a Bicentennial Day and pageant. I loved it, I called it my Betsy Ross dress and bonnet.

  2. Bekki, They are all so great. I like all of them because the kids are so relaxed and they are having so much fun. # 1 & 2 are both really good. The girls hugging, and the boys with their guns are just too cute.

  3. The dresses are getting too short. I guess that means I will have to get sewing again.

  4. Great pictures, Bekki. They are all so do you pick?

  5. What adorable photos!!!! Those are sure to be a treasure for years to come. You did a fantastic job!

  6. They are all fantastic! I love the ones of the girls holding out the skirts of their dresses. It amazes me how much Miles looks like his dad. Can't wait to see how you use these pictures to decorate. :O)

  7. what wonderful FUN pictures!!! I love 2 and 4!!!
