This is one of my favorite things during canning season. I use it to puree berries, make salsa, applesauce, jam, tomato sauce, etc. You put the food in the hopper, crank the handle and the good stuff comes down the white chute and the yuck comes out the end. No removing skins or seed it does it all for you. It is so easy to work that my children fight over who is going to turn the crank! So I thought it celebration of the fact I have been blogging for two years I would give one away!
One reader will win a strainer for your own use. It comes with one screen for apples/tomatoes. It will save you so much time in the kitchen, especially if you can in large quantities or want to get started.
To win:

ReplyDeleteOh my would I love to get my hands on this!! I have a foley mill and it can be downright awkward at times- the kids certainly can't help since they aren't strong and/or coordinated enough to work it.
ReplyDeleteI'll blog about it too once I put my kids down for a nap this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome addition this would be to my kitchen! I am elbow deep in tomatoes and apples and pumpkin. I am having to use a pitiful strainer and divide seeds and skins myself....this has been several all day projects.
